I was prepared for any question coming and of course ready to show the wealth of my knowledge with my own questions. There was only one teeny weeny problem - they hadn't memorised my script ...

How many times do we as individuals wait to be invited or asked to step forward?  Come out from behind the curtains on to the stage. How often do we stand back, hoping that in working hard and relentlessly with no form of self promotion, we will be recognised for our hard work, the results we’ve created and the value we’ve contributed to the team, the family and how selfless we’ve been?  The truth is this, without owning your own press and promoting yourself you give total responsibility for your acceptance and confirmation that you belong into the hands of another.

When we are born we arrived in the world with all of our selves, our hopes, our dreams and even our ambitions. Then as the years passed by and our experiences varied, gradually small parts of ourselves are locked away and suppressed in the quest for success or or fitting in to our perceptions of what is required to do well or even survive.  

Every little broken promise though in the moment may seem like nothing, leaves an indelible mark on the effected person’s memory and at times heart. A human being at work is the same being at home with friends, family and loved ones.
