Our Leadership consulting is based on the tenets of Love, Leadership and Results.
For two reasons – one because in order to get the best out of yourself before turning your attention to others, you’ve got to love what you do, how you do it, where you do it and why you do it. What ever “it” may be. Loving what you do means that when times are hard and the results look far beyond reach, there’s an inner strength that keeps you going and one to call upon when driving, leading and implementing change.
Secondly, people regardless of level, status or path in life respond to Love. Our belief is that the most ordinary of human beings can achieve the most extraordinary of results with love and encouragement. Love is the most fundamental need of a human being and why would this need be any different in the work place? Engagement surveys and well-being initiatives in all shapes and sizes are intended at some level to demonstrate love in the work place. They however miss the point. Love is both relational and intentional. The presence of Love – genuine, caring and unconditional Love - for self and others in the work place is the real key to achieving extraordinary results.
Because this is the most impactful way of being in business and in life. Yet, it can be the most challenging role to fulfil competently. The core differentiating requirements of inspiring people and engaging talent are the most difficult requirements to meet by any leader regardless of his or her level. And to do this in times of change and a requirement for followership can be harder still.
The behaviour of leaders can set the tone and way of being of an organisation. An organisation can either succeed or fail by the behaviours of its leadership. To us, Leadership is having the clarity of understanding of where you want to go, the knowledge of how you want to get here and the ability to with love and without condition, mobilise people to follow you! Mobilising people to follow is an emotional state and when underpinned by Love the outcome can be inspiring and producing of extraordinary results!
The quality of your results will be determined by the quality of the investment of your time in planning, the allocation of your tangible and intangible resources, the capability of your talent and leadership and above all, the level of belief and commitment – i.e. a desire to have you win – that your people have for your organisation. Commitment meaning your people doing what ever it takes within the confines of the law and your company ethical and moral values to have themselves and others succeed. It means rejoicing not only on individual wins but also on the collaborative wins of teams and the organisation. It means a commitment to the development of the individual, the team and the organisation.
