Racism and exclusion is endemic and institutional. The murder of a man because of the colour of his skin and by the institution whose purpose is to protect him is indicative of the challenge we have in the world today. In a world where the notion of love is resisted and yet is actually the only answer, what replaces it is protest, violence and aggression. And yet, who can blame? What is left to do after years and years of oppression. The time has come for us - all of us - no matter our creed, race, or leaning - to stand, to talk, to face into what really will make the difference. That is: Love. And take action.
